Policies - 2025

General
  • Cash or personal check only, payment expected at time of service.
  • Returned check fee is $25
  • All pet owners should be proactive with flea treatment.
  • Please let us know if your pet has any medical problems, allergies, or behavioral issues so that we may take it into consideration while caring for him/her.
  • Dogs should be leashed at all times.

Grooming
  • All grooming prices quoted are for pets that are reasonably well maintained. Pets that require more time because of their coat condition, temperament, or physical problems will be charged for the additional care.
  • Please give at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel your grooming appointment. More than two missed appointments may mean that you cannot be rescheduled.

Boarding
  • A $35 fee per dog will be charged for any cancellation with less than 48 hours notice.
  • Goldner's Top Dog is not responsible for any lost or damaged toys and property.
  • No dogs under 6 months of age accepted for boarding.​​

Medications
  • Medications must be discussed at the time of booking. All prescription medication that needs to be administered during a boarding stay will be charged a minimum of $2 per day. Vitamins and supplements will be given at no additional charge.
  • Medicines must be in original containers with the Doctor's instructions on them.
  • Additional care will be charged accordingly such as extra potty breaks or meals at the owner's request will be discussed at booking.
  • In the unlikely event a trip to the vet is required, you may either authorize someone to take your pet in your place, or there will be a $25 charge for us to bring them.

Vaccinations

​All pets should be up to date on all required vaccinations, no exceptions can be made as this compromises the health of the other guests.

Vaccination records should be clear with the vet's letterhead information and must either be in hand upon arrival or sent to us ahead of time.

All vaccines must be performed by a licensed veterinarian.

Updated shots from a clinic are acceptable, but you must have a regular vet in case of emergency.

We require
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough) 
  • Distemper​/Parvo Combo

Canine influenza is recommended, but not required. Talk to your vet for more information.
